Learn how to clean your engagement ring at home and bring the sparkle back...Remember when you first got your engagement ring and you couldn't stop looking at it?The sparkle represented everything good to come and you couldn't resist peeking at it throughout the day when you should have been concentrating on other things (or was that just me who loves a good bit of sparkle?). Then over time, the sparkle dulls just a little as you forget to take your ring off when you wash the pots, cook the tea or do the cleaning and eventually you don't even bother trying to remember to take it … [Read more...]
That was…. January!
I can't believe it's already that end of January! At the end of last year, I had an idea that I wanted to do a bit of a post at the end of each month to share some of my favourite pictures of the month along with a bit of a life update so I added a note to my calendar for today.I planned to share with you a selection of wonderful photos and lots of great news about the things we've achieved during this last month. But... as often happens with life, things don't go according to plan.Apart from me, the rest of the house have been plagued with that horrible bug on and off since the … [Read more...]
10 sites to help you earn money from surveys….
Today I'm going to share with you a list of websites that you can use to earn money from surveys this year! What I will say up front is that earning extra money by completing surveys is never going to make you a millionaire. We did get a better deal when we rang them the last time our contract ended but we called them yesterday on the off-chance that they could do anything … [Read more...]

What we ate in a week {January 2018}….
Today I'm sharing the second post in my 'What we ate in a week' series! The plan with these posts is that I start writing this post the Monday before you read it each month and just update it each night with a photo of what we had for our tea that day. It worked pretty well last time I did this so let's see if I'm as good this time... MondayMushroom risotto was on the menu tonight, inspired by the pathetic looking mushrooms that were sitting in the bottom of the fridge. I added some chilli for a bit of heat too and it tasted lovely! TuesdayBefore Christmas, I bought a … [Read more...]
