Today I'm going to share with you a list of websites that you can use to earn money from surveys this year! What I will say up front is that earning extra money by completing surveys is never going to make you a millionaire. It will, however, make you a reasonable amount of money if you stick to it and could definitely add up to pay for next Christmas if you're consistent and have a little time on a regular basis to dedicate to completing surveys.I've done surveys myself in the past but never to a degree where I've earned more than about £15 a month which is good when you consider … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things I’ve done this week {26th January 2018}….
1) We bought Master Frugal a mountain bike for Christmas which he's over the moon with! This week, we sold his old bike on one of our local Facebook selling sites and because it was in great condition, the money we got for it will just about pay for a weekly food shop.2) The only company who supply the superfast broadband in our street at the moment is Virgin so we're pretty much tied to them as we do use the internet a lot in our house. We did get a better deal when we rang them the last time our contract ended but we called them yesterday on the off-chance that they could do anything … [Read more...]

Today I'm sharing the second post in my 'What we ate in a week' series! The plan with these posts is that I start writing this post the Monday before you read it each month and just update it each night with a photo of what we had for our tea that day. MondayMushroom risotto was on the menu tonight, inspired by the pathetic looking mushrooms that were sitting in the bottom of the fridge. I added some chilli for a bit of heat too and it tasted lovely! TuesdayBefore Christmas, I bought a … [Read more...]
#HouseGoals for 2018….
Is it weird that every January I sit down and write a list of things that I want to do to the house over the course of that year? I'm hoping that you all shook your head and decided that it wasn't weird at all because today I'm going to share this year's house goals list with you. ;-)Before I share my list, I'll tell you why I do it shall I? I write a list of things I want to get done around the house and then whenever we have some spare money (which isn't often) then I can choose something from the house goals list to spend it on. We also put money aside each month to go towards the … [Read more...]
