Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) This week, I've given my washing machine a good old clean because it hadn't had one for a while and cleaning it not only helps it to work better but also prolongs its life which is important as I really don't want to shell out for a new washing machine until I absolutely have to.I also spent some one-on-one time with my Shark hoover cleaning … [Read more...]
Social Media made me buy it – Bloomchic dresses….
Bloomchic dresses have been popping up in my social media feeds for the last three or four months and more recently, I've been seeing reviews from influencers online. I really wanted to try the dresses for myself so I decided to buy a couple (keep reading for how I got myself some bargains) but they weren't what I was expecting so I thought I'd share my own review with you today.**Just putting it out there up front that this isn't a review as such - I bought and paid for each dress myself **Anyone who knows me will know that I love a good dress and now we're moving into the Winter … [Read more...]
Making Christmas Memories….
I heard Master Frugal last night talking to one of his friends about Christmas in our house and it really made me smile. He was telling them about some of his favourite Christmas presents from over the years! Some of the memories he has of his favourite presents surprised me a little bit though...I know how lucky my two have been over the years and when blogging was at its peak I remember feeling a bit overwhelmed at times with the number of presents we were able to give them thanks to the generosity of brands who sent us gifts either to review or lots of times to say thank you for … [Read more...]

Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) Master Frugal is now up and running with his provisional driving license and is ready to start learning to drive. I wanted to buy him a car to help him put into practice with me what he'd learned in his lessons in a similar way to how I used to take his older sister out for drives. The extra hours I could give her in the car really made a difference … [Read more...]
Five things to buy from Farmfoods….
Today I'm sharing my top five things to buy from Farmfoods if you have a branch near you! Farmfoods is one of my favourite freezer shops but for some reason, I thought it was just a small local company with just a couple of branches so I've never really shouted about it on here. I've just discovered that they're pretty much everywhere across the UK though so I thought I'd share a couple of the things I regularly buy from there.First of all though, a quick reminder about why frozen food is key to meal planning and saving money in the kitchen...Frozen food is often cheaper … [Read more...]
