Master Frugal is ready to start learning to drive which is causing me all kinds of anxiety as I'm a worrier and the thought of him driving an actual car terrifies me! His car is ready now (that's a whole other post waiting to happen but basically we bought an older car that needed fixing up) and he's ready to start his lessons. Once he's had a couple of lessons then I'm happy to take him out in his car and give him the chance to practice what he's learning in his lessons so this week has been all about getting his car taxed and tested and ready to go.I thought I'd share a … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things we did this week {11 November 2022}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) I renewed my membership to Costco a couple of months ago after letting it lapse during COVID. I can't remember if I didn't renew because it was closed or because I forgot but either way, it ran out and I never got around to renewing it until this Summer. Social Media made me buy it – The Crimpit….
Today, I'm sharing a little CrimpIt review with you all as it's a little gadget I bought recently and absolutely love. Does anyone else buy random things after seeing them advertised on Social Media?I realised a little while ago that I'm like an advertiser's dream right now as I've bought things recently that I may not have even known existed if it hadn't been for Social Media and its advertising algorithms that somehow know what I want before I even know myself. I started a cheeky little blog post series last year called 'Social Media made me buy it' but after a couple … [Read more...]

{UPDATED A YEAR ON} Lip Blushing – my experience….
Have you ever heard of lip blushing? Read on and I'll tell you what it is, why I got it done and what my experience was like...So, let's start with what lip blushing actually is - it's a type of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure achieved by depositing pigments in your lips using small needles. It's not a solid block of colour being tattooed onto your lips though as the pigments are more to add a bit of a blush of colour to your lips leaving them looking natural, more defined and often giving the impression of fuller lips. My lips are super pale with no defined … [Read more...]

If you have then this easy pumpkin pie recipe is just what you need to make your very own version of this traditional American pie.{Spoiler Alert: it's not only super simple to make but genuinely tastes amazing! No wonder it's such a popular dish!}I've always wanted to try pumpkin pie if only to say that I'd tried it but when I've searched how to make it in the past, it's always felt like a bit of a faff for something I wasn't convinced I'd like so I just never bothered.
