As a mum, taking photos is something that I do frequently and often more often than not, I just point and shoot without any thought for what's going to make a good photo. Five Frugal things I’ve done this week {11th March 2016}….

Have you seen the 'On This Day' app on Facebook that sends you a message every day to remind you of what you were doing on the same day in previous years? Review: Retro Slushie Maker….
I remember asking Santa for a Mr Frosty every year between the ages of around 6 and 12 but for some reason, he was never in my pile of presents on Christmas morning. Days Out: Byland Abbey….
You might have read yesterday that I decided to embrace Mothers Day this year rather than stick my head in the sand and pretend it's not happening for the most part. How one kind act made me want to embrace Mothers Day this year for the first time in 10 years….
Usually at this time of year I feel compelled to write something about why I'm not a fan of Mothers Day and over the years I've even written the occasional letter or two to my lovely Mum.I think about my Mum on a daily basis, often asking myself what she would do or wishing that I could share something with her, but this time of year is generally quite hard to deal.
