Last week, I shared the results of our charity shop shopping trip with you and if you had chance to read it, I think you'll agree that we got a lot for our money.I've also shared in the past the results of our ebay shopping exploits which were almost as successful as we bought a Topshop playsuit, a Boohoo dress and a River Island dress - all for about £13. They've been worn lots so were great value for what we paid for them! But where else can you find bargains if you need some new clothes?I have a few sites that I keep an eye on....SocialDiscountNetwork - Can be quite … [Read more...]

It really is true that the best things in life are free (although I clearly wouldn't say no if you offered me a fancy car, big house and a giant pile of money) so today, I thought I'd share my 10 favourite free things in life with you.Be warned, this may get a little bit cheesey....What's your favourite free thing? … [Read more...]
#SaveMoneyMonday – Massive Savings on toys….
Welcome to this week's #SaveMoneyMonday!Every Monday, I'm planning to feature one small way to save money in one way or another - whether it's getting something for nothing, sharing a money saving top tip or even a way to make some extra money. This week I wanted to tell you about the massive toy sale on at Argos at the minute, I know I shared this on my Christmas blog and also on my Facebook page and I don't usually post about specific deals on the blog itself but this one is just too good not to share with as many people as possible!Basically they have lots of toys (and other … [Read more...]
What I’m Doing Now….
One of my favourite bloggers, Becky, has tagged me to share with you all what I'm doing now. Even when it's not on I … [Read more...]

I gave her £10 a few weeks ago to buy some new Summery bits and bobs and she did a brilliant job, … [Read more...]
Thrifty Thursday – Make your own curtains (take two)….
I wouldn't usually re-publish a post but every now and again, I remember about a post I wrote that's hidden away in my archives craving a little bit of attention (aren't we all?). This post, for example, was originally published a year or so ago but I really wanted to share it with you again today as I've just made a second pair of curtains using the same method.I've been after a pair of thick cream curtains for my living room for a while now but I'm struggling to find a pair that I like enough to buy! It's not that I'm fussy though, I just have very specific requirements ;-)I want … [Read more...]
