Why not print out this free printable Valentine's Day card so you can show the one you love just how much you love them this Valentine's Day without spending a penny.I've seen lots of people this week calling out that they're not a fan of Valentine's Day as it gets more and more commercial every year. I absolutely agree about the commercialism but at the same time, I do like the sentiment of the day so I thought I'd make this free printable Valentine's card so you can show your love without buying a card - it really is (or should be) the sentiment that counts and not how much you … [Read more...]
Five Frugal Things we did this week {11th February 2022}….
Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) Look at my bargain 99p t-shirt. I have very few t-shirts so I was over the moon when I found this bargain M&S top on one of my charity shop trips last weekend. You can't really tell but it's a navy blue with pretty pink writing on it and I love it!I've never been a t-shirt wearer and would much rather have a dress and tights on … [Read more...]

I know I've touched on how something that you might class as 'junk mail' can actually save you money a few times before in my weekly five frugal things post but today, I thought we'd give it a whole post of its own.(I first published this a couple of years ago but money's tight for lots of people right now so I thought it was worth a quick update and a reshare to remind you of a couple of different ways to save some money) Lots of people mentally sort their mail into three piles - you have the boring bills and grown-up life admin stuff, the waste of paper junk mail and finally, what's … [Read more...]
Homemade Healthy Roasted Tomato Soup….
It's definitely soup weather today and I have tomatoes in the oven roasting away ready to make this homemade tomato soup recipe. My homemade roasted tomato soup is absolutely amazing and I guarantee that once you've made it once, you'll make it again and again!I love the smell (and taste) of tomatoes that are sold on the vine as it reminds me of watering the tomatoes with my dad in his greenhouse when I was a child. The smell takes me right back to when I used to pester him to let me help with some of the watering and the memories that the smell brings back makes me feel safe … [Read more...]
