Today's post is all about how you can save money on reading - something I've mastered over the years as I am a huge reader and am never far from a book.I love to read! It's my escape from real life when I need a break, my way to switch off when I want to relax and the best way to clear my mind on a night before I go to sleep. I have a Kindle e-reader which is always filled with nice easy reading books - and by easy reading, I don't mean books with no big words and lots of pictures, I mean books that don't need much brainpower and that always have a happy ending. … [Read more...]
Turn Blue Monday into Happy Monday….
Apparently, today is Blue Monday, a day known for being the most miserable Monday of the year! It's called Blue Monday as it's supposedly the most miserable day of the year which has something to do with the fact that Christmas seems like a distant memory whereas payday feels like it's forever away. Add that to the fact that the sky is usually grey and dull outside and I get why it's supposed to be a miserable day even in normal times - never mind at a time when the world itself is as uncertain as it is.But, I genuinely believe that we have the power to control the way our … [Read more...]

I don't necessarily want to buy new and more expensive pieces as I'm not in a hurry so I'm happy to just keep searching on sites like eBay and Facebook … [Read more...]

How to get FREE Food with the Shopmium App….
Today I'm going to share how to get FREE food with the Shopmium app! OK, I know I'm a bit late to the party on this one but one of you lovely people emailed me a couple of weeks ago to ask me what I thought about the Shopmium App and I had to hold my hands up and say that I'd never used it. I've since put that right and now I'm an absolute convert! 😂Honestly, I've seen people talking about the Shopmium App so many times and it's been on my to-do list to try for a good couple of years but I've just never got around to actually downloading the app and having a go. I'm kicking … [Read more...]
