Thank you so much for your comments and messages wishing us well for Miss Frugal's visit to the hospital this morning.  All of your positive vibes and good luck worked - the Dr told us today that he is certain that she does not have a tumour.He said that she is suffering from childhood pre migraine aura without the migraine element and confirmed that she is experiencing abdominal migraines, both of which *may* effect her more as she gets older, especially when she hits puberty.  Obviously this isn't brilliant but compared to what we'd prepared for, it is the best news we've ever … [Read more...]

Tomorrow is the day we take Miss Frugal to the hospital to see the brain surgeon.  We've waited for months for the appointment after being told that the brain scan had ruled out most things but there was a possibility that she had a very small slow growing tumour that would not have shown on the scan due to it's size.The fact we've had such a long wait isn't necessarily a good sign as some people have said to me because the tumour (if there is one) was so small at the time of the scan that they would need to leave it for a period for it to become detectable if you see what I mean.She … [Read more...]
