Well, I don't really have the secret to a successful party but I am feeling pretty pleased with myself after the success of Miss Frugal's 8th Birthday pamper party this afternoon. All seven girls who were invited turned up (I always worry everyone will forget) and we were having that much fun that the two hours flew by. Saturday Nights….
I love Saturday nights.... It's my favourite night of the week - laptops, mobiles and computers are banned (although I do keep an eye on Twitter through X Factor as some of the comments are hilarious!) and from about five ish, we settle down for some 'quality family time', which usually involves an XBox 360 Bomberman tournament, a few board games and obviously the obligatory Saturday night X Factor fest.Movie Night with popcorn ;-) After the kids go to bed we usually snuggle up with a takeaway and watch a film. Bored, Bored, Board…. The Sequel
A little while ago we made our own board game called the Razzle Dazzle game and even if I do say so myself, it was brilliant. I can't for the life of me understand why Mattel or some other game making company aren't banging on out door trying to buy the rights to it (or not lol). A curl up and die moment….
Everyone knows that when you have kids, it's practically impossible to have a bath without being interrupted or to even have a wee without a little person following you to the toilet. I don't even shut the toilet door at home anymore because that's like an open invitation for a child to come in, but you would think that I would remember to close the cubicle door at work wouldn't you?
