Well its absolutely pouring down here this morning so we are going to bake some biscuits and cakes. Memory Books….

Yorkshire Puddings….
Sunday Dinner wouldn't be Sunday Dinner without Yorkshire puds but no matter what I try I can't seem to get those huge yummy looking ones that you see on the TV!The recipe that I use is 100g of plain flour, 1/2 pint milk and 2 eggs. I heat the oven to the hottest temperature and then preheat the oil in my pudding tins. I do everything that the TV chef's say but.....They just don't work out right. Homemade book update….
So much for tomorrow's activity of making books.... Little Miss frugal just caught sight of the instruction video and 'just had' to make her book tonight....She also didn't like my suggestion about the book being about what we had done in the summer holidays and much preferred to make hers about a princess who lived on the beach. Excuse the spellings, she is only six.... And the reason that she has a mood on in the last pictures is that she thinks that she drew 'The End' too big and didn't want me to take a photo of that bit. Birthday Party Traumas
I have just got back from taking little Miss Frugal to a birthday party, it was in a church hall and had an all singing, all dancing, bubble blowing, light flashing disco there. The kids loved it!When they played 'Is this the way to Amarillo' all 25 kids stopped running about like mad freaks, got into a line and started doing exactly the same dance. Very weird, like a scene out a body snatcher movie!!! Turns out that this is their new song for wake and shake on a morning at school!
