You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it's from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online so you'll understand how excited I've been the last couple of weeks to be able to get back out to the charity shops and having a good rummage.I took Miss Frugal with me for my first shopping trip although she's much less enthusiastic about charity shop shopping and only came with me as we turned it into a driving lesson. 😂There were actually a couple of bits that caught her eye and she was responsible for possibly the bargain of the century... … [Read more...]
Instant Pot Minced Beef and Onions Recipe….
Instant Pot minced beef and onions were on our menu yesterday for tea so I thought I'd share how I make it with you. My Slow Cooker Minced Beef and Onions blog post is one of my most popular posts and every Sunday, without fail, it will be in my top 5 viewed posts because people are no doubt making that for Sunday Dinner instead of a full-on roast dinner. I don't blame them at all as it's such an easy meal to make and tastes amazing for something with so little effort needed but a couple of weeks ago, I thought I'd try making it in the Instant Pot instead. Homemade Febreze for under 20p a bottle….
I've been making homemade Febreze for years now and often share in my weekly Five Frugal Things posts when I've made up a new batch but today, I'm going to update and reshare the original post when I told you about it for a couple of reasons. And … [Read more...]

That means more homemade muffins, veggies and homemade homous, lots of fruit and the newest addition to my snack repertoire - these homemade mini cheddars.I made them originally to use up … [Read more...]

Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. This week, I'm going to do things a bit differently and tell you five things I have on my to-do list this weekend because I'm planning a bit of a life admin weekend. 😂1) I know my car insurance is coming up for renewal in the next month as I’ve had an email to say my renewal quote is ready to be viewed so I’ll have a look at that and then have a search about … [Read more...]
