Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) I've decided to go back to online shopping as I feel like I have more control of what goes in my basket when I do that - shopping when a teenager or two decided to join me is a risky business lately. 😂I've been thinking about it for a while but someone told me about the Tesco Delivery Saver which costs £7.99 a month and gives you … [Read more...]
Homemade Cuticle Oil…
Do your nails a favour with this homemade cuticle oil!I know I've said this before but everyone has their own reasons for being frugal and one of my biggies is that I want to save money wherever I can so I can afford treats and nice things in life without having to worry about paying for them. So, I spend money on regular nail appointments which I know will have lots of you rolling your eyes because it no doubt feels like a bit of an indulgent thing. I know this because I used to feel exactly the same way and would look at people who had perfectly manicured nails and … [Read more...]
This week’s meal plan {3rd May 2021} ….
So, it's been a while since you've seen a meal plan over here (in fact, it's been a while since I even shared a meal plan over on Meal Planning Made Easy if I'm honest but I promise that the lack of meal planning posts isn't because I haven't been doing it, it's more that I've just been so busy and genuinely haven't had time to share our meal plans with you.I'm really conscious about what we're eating at the moment as I really do want to get into better shape. Thanks to a mix of healthier eating and exercise, I'm back to my pre-lockdown weight which admittedly, wasn't a healthy weight … [Read more...]

How an exercise bike is changing my life….
OK, I know that title sounds a little bit dramatic but bear with me!I originally wanted a foldaway exercise bike because I thought being able to fold it away and just get it out whenever I fancied a go on it would be ideal so I spend ages looking for a bike that would (a) fold away when I wasn't using it (b) not cost an absolute fortune and finally (c) be ready for delivery soon after I ordered it.I ended up buying one from Amazon because it was the only place I could find one that was portable, on budget and available for next day delivery. This is the one I bought … [Read more...]
Two Ingredient Slow Cooker Cake…
I'm really not sure how I feel about this two ingredient slow cooker cake - it shouldn't work but it kind of does work.I'm a member of a couple of slow cooking groups on Facebook (I know, super exciting or what) and at least three times a week, I'll see a post pop up in my feed from someone saying how amazing this two ingredient slow cooker cake is. Over the last few months, I've seen so many different flavour combinations and most have worked with great levels of success.I did want to have a go at making it myself but I knew I needed some large slow cooker cake cases (if … [Read more...]
