Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) Did you see my homemade massage oil last weekend? I made it because I had sore leg muscles after overdoing it on my exercise bike. :-) I made it using things I had in the house already and it worked really well when I used it on my poor achey legs!2) I got a great deal on Miss Frugal's mobile phone contract this week! She's on a … [Read more...]
Cute Baked Doughnuts Recipe….
This cute baked doughnuts recipe is brought to you by Miss Frugal who's discovered a love of baking over the last couple of months. I've been trying to eat much healthier lately and one afternoon, I was upstairs working from home when the most amazing smell started to drift upstairs from the kitchen. When I went to investigate what the smell was, my first thought was that our baking cupboard had exploded all over the counters. 😂It turned out that Miss Frugal had been busy making me some baked doughnuts as she knew I was trying to be healthy but wanted to make us … [Read more...]

This massage oil for sore muscles is just what you need to help relieve those aches and pains. It's super quick to make and really effective so do your muscles a favour and make a batch to have on standby.Until recently, I've never had a need for any kind of massage oil for sore muscles purely because I've never really done much to actually get sore muscles. 😂Then I got my exercise bike and really surprised myself by how much I enjoyed it and how much I could do on there. They lasted literally 3 days which … [Read more...]
8 reasons why buying second-hand clothes is the future..
Today, I've got 8 reasons why buying second-hand clothes is the future for you. :-) I'm not going to lie, I think reason one is enough all on its own but I added the rest in case you still needed a bit of persuasion.I shared a post a couple of weeks ago where I asked the question 'Are charity shops too expensive?' and it got me started on all the reasons why buying second-hand clothes is the way to go. My reasons started to take over the whole post so I dialled it back and copied it over to this post as this topic really does deserve a post of its own.I share a post every … [Read more...]
Opening a bank account for my 16 year old….
Opening a bank account for my 16-year-old was so easy that it took me longer to find his passport than it did to do the application! This afternoon, I helped Master Frugal open his own bank account with Monzo and it was so easy that I thought I'd share it with you because it was so much easier than I expected!(BTW - I'm not working with Monzo at all, I'll explain below why we picked Monzo over the other options 😂 )The first reason we chose Monzo was that they advertise an 'easy' online account opening process which was a big sell to me after the nightmare we had trying … [Read more...]
