Opening a bank account for my 16-year-old was so easy that it took me longer to find his passport than it did to do the application! This afternoon, I helped Master Frugal open his own bank account with Monzo and it was so easy that I thought I'd share it with you because it was so much easier than I expected!(BTW - I'm not working with Monzo at all, I'll explain below why we picked Monzo over the other options 😂 )The first reason we chose Monzo was that they advertise an 'easy' online account opening process which was a big sell to me after the nightmare we had trying … [Read more...]
Actifry Fajitas Recipe….
My recipe for Actifry Fajitas is actually so simple that I feel like a bit of a fraud calling it a recipe. It's currently our favourite meal though so I thought it was worth a share today.I've been after an Actifry for ages and last month, I finally caved and bought one when I saw them on offer in B&M for about £30 cheaper than I'd seen it anywhere else. Facebook MADE me buy it {Part 3}….
Did you see my last 'Facebook MADE me buy it' post?Basically, I realised a little while ago that I'm like an advertisers dream right now as I've bought things recently that I may not have even known existed if it hadn't been for Facebook and its advertising algorithms that somehow know what I want before I even know myself.(To be clear: none of these items are sponsored or gifted, they're all things that have genuinely appeared in my Newsfeed - usually numerous times before I give in!)Before I start telling you what I have bought, let me tell you what I haven't bought that I … [Read more...]
