Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) I've been off work this week so I've worked really hard to get my life back into some form of order! I've done a review of my budget and cancelled a few of the extra little monthly things that have crept in since I last did one - no idea what came over me when I ordered a monthly stationery subscription box and I'm nowhere near grown-up … [Read more...]

This month’s pre-loved bargains {September 2020}….
I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it's from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online so I thought I'd start a bit of a monthly round-up of some of the pre-loved bargains that I buy each month. You could even make a version at Christmas using mincemeat!I made a batch this weekend as the skies were so grey and miserable here that it felt like an Autumn day but I didn't want to go … [Read more...]
Hello Fresh – overhyped and overpriced?
Everywhere I look right now online, there's an influencer telling me how good Hello Fresh is and how my life will be so much better if I subscribed. Hey! 👐Ugh, it's been one of those weeks this week! I'm pretty much done in and ready to hibernate this weekend with absolutely no plans to do anything other than watch TV shows on Netflix and Hayu that don't require any brain cells at all. 1) You will NEVER guess what? I've finally painted the wall behind my bed which, if you've … [Read more...]
