Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. I'm not perfect though - far from it - so for this week's post I thought I'd share a few of the 'almost' frugal things that I did this week.Hey! 👐1) Look at these little beauties...The big guy in the front was a bargain from the reduced section because it looks a bit worse for wear up close and he's a bit wonky so I picked him up and thought I'd take him … [Read more...]
Homemade Cheesy Bread Buns….
This recipe for homemade cheesy bread buns is a super easy recipe that the kids will love to help with! Baking bread was always a favourite activity with my two when they were younger and even now, Master Frugal can always be tempted away from his Xbox if there's bread to be baked. Once a week, we'll have homemade pizzas for tea with the pizza base made by hand by one of the kids and we actually use the same recipe for bread buns as we do for our pizza bases so we don't even need to look now. These homemade cheesy bread buns are an old favourite of ours and seeing as … [Read more...]

Homemade Lemonade is the most amazing, refreshing drink that you can have on a hot day!We first shared a mint version of our homemade lemonade a few years ago when we had an over-enthusiastic mint plant growing on our kitchen windowsill and a glut of fresh lemons from the reduced section at the shop and it was amazing! Since then, we've tried all sorts of different lemonade flavours - blueberry, peach, strawberry and even a lavender flavour and they've all been lovely but on a hot day, the most refreshing version is definitely just plain old homemade lemonade with no … [Read more...]

Hey! 👐1) As always, my favourite way to start one of these weekly posts...These ones look a bit sad but they only cost 50p so I'm hoping they might cheer up once they've had a soak. I say this all of the time but I love fresh flowers, they really do make me smile so they're never a waste of money to me. 2) OK, we finally gave … [Read more...]
