Every week I share five frugal things that I've done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. Hey! 👐1) There's been a dress that I've wanted from Laura Ashley for a good six months or so but I couldn't bear the thought of paying £70 for a dress so even though I wanted it, I left it on the rack every time I saw it. Anyway, last weekend, I walked past Laura Ashley and thought I'd just nip in on the off chance that the dress was in the sale and I … [Read more...]
How to make a workspace at home when you have no space…
Working from home isn't as easy as I thought it would be and I realised quite quickly that I needed my own little space to work from. The problem is that I had absolutely no space anywhere to fit one in. Working from home is something that I've had the luxury of being able to do for a while now, even before the start of Lockdown, but honestly, I much prefer working from the office than from home. I feel like I'm more productive in work and I do like being around people so I've pretty much worked from the office for most of the last few months. Instant Pot Spaghetti….
Instant Pot Spaghetti is not only easy to make in no time at all but it also tastes amazing and no-one will ever believe that it literally takes two minutes to put together! So, before you read the recipe for this super tasty, super easy recipe, I do have a little bit of a confession. 😋As much as I'd like to say that I use my homemade tomato sauce for this recipe, I'd be lying because I actually cheat and use a ready-made jar of pasta sauce. I fully support cooking from scratch but lately, I just haven't had the time to enjoy cooking all that much so I try and take a … [Read more...]

Homemade flatbread – quick, easy and brilliant….
Homemade flatbread is amazing because it's so versatile as well as being so easy to make that my children can do it on their own. We have homemade flatbread with soup, made into mini pizzas, we use them as pocketless pitta bread filled with lovely fillings, as burger buns, wrapped around hot dogs, with scrambled egg and bacon on - you name it, we've probably served it with a homemade flatbread. We've always made this by hand rather than in our breadmaker for no other reason than it just feels like more of a rustic kind of recipe that should be made by hand and not by … [Read more...]
