OK, so we know that I’m not the craftiest blogger around but we did make some pretty pipe cleaner crowns this weekend that I thought you might like to see….
We used glitter pipe cleaners from Tesco because we wanted some sparkle as our crowns were for the Race for Life last Sunday (although we ended up leaving them in the car). They were £1.25 a pack and lots of the crafty stuff is on 3 for 4 or something like that so I bought a couple of packs and some coloured paper as well.
You can’t go far wrong if you start by making the band that goes around your head and then, once you’ve made sure it’s the right size, you can just go where your imagination takes you!
We ended up making three – the two that Miss Frugal is modelling here and the one in the picture above which has since mysteriously disappeared!
I might actually keep mine and wear it for washing the pots. 😉

These are brilliant and great for fancy dress. Very frugal too 😉 Love it x
I showed the pictures of the pipe cleaner crowns to my daughter. Then, she wanted to make one and asked me to find pipe cleaner right away. LOL
