This super cute little roll a gingerbread game is going to give you and your family lots of fun over Christmas this year. 😁
I’m all about spending time with the kids at Christmas so I’m always on the lookout for fun things for us to do together and this roll a gingerbread family game is fun, quick to play, and cute enough that even my teenagers will play it with me although it’s definitely better suited to younger kids if you ask me!
I used to play a similar game to this when I was little where you had to make a beetle rather than a gingerbread man by rolling a dice. In fact, I’m almost positive that I went to something called a Beetle Drive at our school where they served pie and peas and everyone played the game in little groups – that does sound a bit weird though so I could completely be making that up. 😂
Anyway, this is a version of that old-fashioned game but instead of making a beetle, you need to print out a gingerbread man (or draw around a gingerbread cookie cutter if you’d prefer) and roll the dice to get his face, buttons, and scarf. Trust me, it’s much more fun than it sounds… And there’s even a little dice that you can print out and make if you need one:

I promise, have a go and you’ll enjoy it way more than you think you will!
