I’ll start by saying that I’m really not that big a fan of Doctor Who. I just don’t see what the fuss is all about if I’m honest but the rest of my family are huge Doctor Who fans so I tolerate it for them. Just.
So you can imagine my disappointment when we went to Liverpool last week and a poster we saw on the train advertising some sort of Doctor Who exhibit at Spaceport put paid to my plans of wandering round the shops and Albert Dock. Instead I ended up ferrying across the Mersey on a very cold windy day to get to this place so we could look at Daleks and Cyberman. Whoo Hoo.
Like I said, I’m not a fan of Doctor Who but I do usually watch it when it’s on seeing as it’s on and everyone else watches it. The episode with the weeping angels in though spooked me out and I had to go and potter about in the kitchen until it was finished – no idea why it made me feel like that as everyone else was OK, but it just made me feel scared (I know, I sound like a wuss now).
Now, picture me, already disappointed that I’m not shopping, coming face to face with my nemesis – an actual weeping angel from the show itself.
So now, seeing as it’s Saturday and it’s Caption day, it’s your job to caption the photo above of Master Frugal. Captions that include references to anything pink and unicorny to make me feel better about weeping angels will be gratefully accepted 😉
