Every year when I write my New Years Resolution list, the same one is always right there at the top of my list – SAVE MONEY. Actually, trying to save money is always a high priority here but making it a New Years Resolution always seems to focus me on it even more than usual.
As I know lots of you will be trying to focus on the same things as me I thought I’d do a quick reminder of my Money Makeover series from last year which was all about reviewing your finances and making them better….
Week One – Money Makeover Introduction
Week Two – Sort our your spending
Week Three – Dealing with Debt
Week Four – Get a better deal on insurance
Week Five – Energy Money Saving
Week Six – Cut the cost of your home phone bills
Week Seven – School Holiday Moneysaving
Week Eight – Get what you’re entitled to
Week Nine – Save money while you drive
Week Ten – Saving money on days out
If you’re trying to save money then it’s well worth starting at the beginning and working your way through the posts to see where you can improve your finances.
Before you start though, I’d grab a notebook and make sure that you keep a record of just how much money you’re saving as it’s very motivating to see how much you’re saving (or that could just me who uses anything as an excuse for a nice new notebook).
Have fun.
