School Uniform Moneysaving….
I'm starting to get ready for the kids going back to school in September, we need new book bags, new packed lunch boxes, new shoes and new uniforms!!! There's no money saving to be done in the new book bags and packed lunch boxes as the kids are extremely choosy about what they want here, apparently, Miss Frugal could not possibly go to school with a plain pink packed lunch box as it's absolutely essential that she has the new Hello Kitty one that she's seen and as for Master Frugal, I tried to suggest he used the same Scooby Doo book bag and was met with absolute outrage. I love some of the things kids say, Miss Frugal has just seen an advert on TV for personal loans and asked if she could get one so that she could buy the new doll she is after.The doll she wants is a baby version of one she already has! Every few months or so I review our monthly budget to see where we can save a bit extra, it's always me that does this as Mr Frugal genuinely does not have a clue about money. Actually I'm not completely on my own but it is just me and the kids tonight as Mr Frugal has very cleverly agreed to do a night shift at work tonight. Seriously, why would anyone work the night shift if they didn't have to.He says its because I am off tomorrow and he thought that we could spend the day together!
