I know it's been a while but I've decided to bring back the Cooking With Kids linky and we're kicking it back off with homemade ice lollies, which I know don't technically class as cooking but you make them in the kitchen and you eat them which is good enough for me and to be honest, I could do with a bit of inspiration so I'd love as many people as possible to join in so I get lots of yummy homemade ice lolly inspiration in time for the Summer.... I haven't done a meal plan for the last couple of weeks as we've had a couple of trips to London (more details will follow) and the kids have been ill (now there's a surprise ;-)) but we're back to normal from tomorrow so I'm hoping to be able to stick to our meal plan for the first time in a couple of weeks. Get Crafty – Mini Homemade Books….
Today in the Frugal household, we have one ill (and whingey) five year old, one very energetic eight year old, one very tired mummy and one absent daddy.Trying to find something to keep us all occupied and happy was a bit of a challenge this morning but we managed a happy hour or so making some homemade books. Homemade Honey Cake….
Last week we were lucky to receive some lovely honey from Rowse Honey, it came in a lovely box with some gorgeous honey cupcakes which only just lasted long enough for me to take a photo....The honey lasted slightly longer though, long enough for us to make a lovely honey cake yesterday afternoon in fact. When I found out that the lovely Notsosinglemum was holding a Nutella Carnival I realised I had two choices. Easy Homemade Shortbread Recipe….
