Last week, I shared a post all about how I manage to maintain a healthy work, life, blog balance and while I was writing it, I realised that I used a lot of different tools to help me work efficiently so I thought I'd share a few of them in a little time-saving blogging tools series. Today I'm sharing my CoSchedule review with you for the first in my series.I'm starting this week with a review of CoSchedule which is a fantastic social media marketing tool that helps me share my posts across various different social media channels quickly and easily without even having to leave … [Read more...]

‘Iconic’ Clock Makeover….
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me asking for some advice on what to do with the bookshelf that I have at the end of my upstairs hallway. Basically, this little bookcase was a gift from Mr Frugal who saw it advertised as being sold by someone local after they'd upcycled it using my favourite Orla Kiely wallpaper. I love it and it fits perfectly at the end of my upstairs landing so makes the most of some unused space.I feel like it's ready for a bit of a makeover though and I'm tempted to have a go at painting over the green but leaving … [Read more...]

As part of #SecondHandSeptember, we decided to share a mini charity shop haul with you to show you some of the bargains you can pick up.Last week, I told you all about why we were joining in with #SecondHandSeptember and I promised a mini charity shop haul so that's what today's post is all about. I roped Miss Frugal in to help me with because (a) she has a little mini eBay business that she set up as she couldn't get a Summer job and (b) she's a teenage girl who knows her own style and has never (until recently) been a fan of wearing charity shop clothes. Basically, I … [Read more...]
