I’ve just had a look back through the blog and I don’t think I’ve done a Siblings post since the end of last year – surprising because it used to be my favourite linky and I used to look forward to writing my Siblings post every single month.
There’s a couple of reasons why I haven’t been joining in over the last few months – the first I can do something about and the second not so much.
The first reason is because I’ve been taking less photos which has meant that I haven’t had many great photos of them both together to share with you. It hasn’t been intentional, in fact I think it’s been quite gradual over the Winter months and I’ve just gotten out of the habit of carrying my camera round. Lately though I’m starting to realise just how much I miss taking photos so I’m going to make an effort to get back into it.
The second reason makes me a little sad although I know it’s to be expected. With Miss Frugal going up into senior school she’s made a lot of new friends which is great – for her. Poor Master Frugal has been feeling a little bit left behind I think and struggled for a little while not having her at the same school and having to share her more with her new friends.
She’s really good with him (most of the time) and she often tries to make an effort to include him in what she and her friends are doing but I do think we’ve reached the stage where he’s less of a best friend and more of an annoying little brother.
They are still close though so I do still have a few photos to share with you….
