There’s lots of ways to make money money fast and even more things you can do to save money so you don’t get in the situation where you need this post. Today I’m going to focus on the things you can do to make money fast but it’s definitely worth having a look at this page when you’re done to see what you can do to save some money on your monthly bills which will help for next time.
Here’s my top tips for the things you can do to make money FAST….
Have a car boot sale
The first thing that always comes to mind if someone asks me how they can make money fast would be to recommend they have a good old de-clutter at home and then hold a car boot sale. We’ve done this really successfully in the past and there’s definitely some money to be made! If you’re planning a boot sale then here’s my car boot sale top tips.
Use your local Facebook selling groups
If you do have a good clear out, think about selling larger or more specialised items on your local Facebook selling sites. I much prefer selling this way to selling on larger sites like eBay as there are no charges for selling and as the buyers are all local there’s no postage costs and you could literally have cash in your hand within an hour of posting your advert which makes this my favourite way to make money fast (that’s only happened to me once though).
Sell your old clothes and shoes
Selling your old clothes will never make you much but if they’re just sitting there then you might as well make some money by selling your old clothes and shoes.
Empty those penny jars
If you’ve been saving your change in a jar somewhere then now’s the time to cash it in. Some banks have machines you can just tip it all into but if your bank doesn’t then you can use a machine in your local supermarke for around 8p in the pound. You’ll be surprised at how much you’ve saved!
Sell your old mobile phone
If you’ve got an old mobile phone just sitting in a drawer somewhere then you need to get it out, dust it off and make some money by selling it. There’s a really useful link on the MoneySavingExpert website here which compares the amount you can get from the many different companies who will buy your old phone. Don’t forget that a phone is generally worth more if it’s unlocked to all networks so have a read here to find out how to get your phone unlocked for free.
Offer your services
That could be taken the wrong way, couldn’t it? What I mean is that lots of people would like someone to do their ironing for them or mow the lawn so why not offer to do it for them and make some money. Facebook would be a good place to start as you can ask your friends first. If you are planning on doing this on a more long term basis then do your research before you rush into it and you never know, it could even grow into a small business!
