Have you ever looked through your camera roll on your phone and found a photo that’s just too good not to share? It might be because it makes you smile as you remember a happy memory or because you’re proud of how good the photo turned out.
Whatever the reason, I thought I’d start a bit of a weekly feature where I’ll share a random photo from my own photo collection that I love along with the reason why I love it.
(I should warn you that they might not always be frugal or thrifty though ;-))
Here’s the first one…
This photo was taken last year when Miss Frugal and I took a trip to Los Angeles and by some miracle, ended up staying in an amazing 5* hotel that we never could have afforded in Beverly Hills rather than the cheaper hotel we’d booked and paid for.
The whole of our week-long trip was filled with ‘pinch me’ moments but this was the first big one for me, taken on the first morning of our holiday and for me, it reminds me of a week that I’ll never, ever forget. It really was the kind of trip that dreams were made of and I really wish I’d shared more about it on here with you all.
We walked to the iconic Beverly Hills sign via Rodeo Drive and spent some time enjoying the sunshine in front of the sign. It’s such a good place to people watch with everyone wanting the perfect shot in front of the sign so we were quite happy sat on the little wall watching what everyone was doing.
Just to one side of the sign, there’s a huge really cool looking tree that I’ve just shared over on my Instagram account – go check it out as it’s definitely a one of a kind tree.
