This photo was Monty’s introduction to the world when we got him in 2017.
We’ve had some difficult times with him as a puppy and it’s only in the last six months or so that he’s actually settled down to the point where I can actually say that I’m pleased we got him. That sounds awful doesn’t it but he was an absolute little bugger as a puppy and nothing was safe when he was about.
He’s eaten a brand new rug, given us more than one impression of the Andrex puppy with toilet roll, eaten more socks than the washing machine and given poor old Buddy reason to want to leave home many times but we’ve stuck with him because that’s what you do, isn’t it?
He’s definitely turned a corner now though and he literally melts my heart when he comes and sits on my knee on a night. He’s so loving and despite his size, there’s nothing he likes more than to be picked up for a cuddle. Just look at this face…
