Is it just me who's concerned about the new facial recognition technology that Facebook have introduced? In case you haven't heard, Facebook's facial recognition technology means that if you upload a picture to Facebook, the system will scan the other 90 billion photos that it's 600 million members have uploaded to see if any of the faces in your photo match the faces of people who have already been tagged.  If it finds a potential match, you'll recieve a message telling you and offering to tag the picture with the persons name.  From what I understand the more pictures of someone that are … [Read more...]
