How to Spend a Bank Holiday Monday….
Despite having the last week off work, as of this morning I hadn't done the majority of things on my week off 'to do list' (Yes, I really did write one ;-)) As I'm back at work tomorrow, that left me today to do it all.... Top of my list was to sort out more storage for Master Frugal's room as he has the smallest room in the house with enough toys and books in there to fill five rooms. Does anyone else feel like the year's passing them by? Happy New Year….
So it's Goodbye 2010 and Hello 2011. We've had lots of fun together this year and I was considering doing a round up of the year for you but then I decided it would be slightly less boring for you if I just shared some of my favourite photo's from the year with you, so here you go....The year seems to have gone really fast and I must admit that I'm ending the year in a much happier place than when it started - I just feel more positive about everything and I'm looking forward to next year. Jobs For Kids….?
As far as I can tell, if you have children you can't have a tidy house. It's one or the other and I seem to have opted for the children and messy house scenario. My two just do not understand the 'put one away before you get another one out' rule and move like mini whirlwinds from one toy to the next which doesn't exactly help my quest for one of those beautiful, tidy homes that I see in the glossy magazines that I religiously buy each month. The Clampets have left the building….
How typical is this, after a weekend of rain and hailstones the sun finally decides to pay us a visit on the day that Mr Frugal goes back to work! The weather was so bad that I didn't get chance to do my back garden over the weekend as planned so I thought I would have a go this afternoon while the sun is shining.I've already tidied the bins up and sorted the recycling boxes out, they are now hiding around the side of the house which I am sure Mr Frugal will have a whinge about as its about 10 foot further to walk to put the rubbish in the bin.
