Has anyone noticed that Cadbury's Cream Eggs are in the shops again.... How mad is that? The decorations have just come down and the kids are picking out their Easter eggs!Anyway moving swiftly on, Master Frugal is still hobbling around feeling sorry for himself. We took him back to the hospital yesterday and they have redressed his poorly foot and told us to go back again tomorrow for a further assessment. Stressful Afternoon….
First of all: AAAAAAAAGH (that was me screaming)What started out as a lovely afternoon rapidly went downhill today.As it's been snowing quite heavily again around here we decided to build another snowman. Not just your average snowman, but a giant snowman. Mr Frugal wanted to build a giant snowman so that ours was bigger than the snowman over the road (that's why the kids call him competitive dad lol). Tonight’s Tea….
Some people (the real Domestic Goddess' of this world) can make up recipes as they go along, they are able to just throw some ingredients together and make a michelin starred meal. I have never been able to do this, I can only just put together a nice meal with a recipe to follow!That's why I am so pleased with what I made today. Websites Suitable for Children
Miss Frugal is very into my laptop at the moment as she got a pink diamante studded mouse for Christmas with a Bratz doll. The doll itself was very strange and comes with several interchangeable heads but thats another story.Anyway, she loves to play on here but as she is only seven she only goes on the sites that I bring up for her (dreading when she gets a bit older and wants to do it herself) and we generally look at them together but...... Mario Kart DS is driving me mad….
As you may remember, Master Frugal got a Nintendo DS for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and has hardly put it down since he unwrapped it. The fact that he is playing on his DS has also renewed Miss Frugal's enthusiasm for hers and they have discovered that as they both have Mario Kart they can play against each other, even when they are in different rooms!Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh - I am hearing the tune from the game in my sleep. Cotton Wool Snowman….
I have been promising the kids for ages that we will make cotton wool snowmen and I finally ran out of excuses today so we now have three cotton wool snowmen sat on our living room window...They're simple but messy to make. We used a toilet roll for each snowman and using PVA glue we covered them with cotton wool.
