Over the last month or so, Master Frugal has started sneaking into our bed in the middle of the night and snuggling in between us. He's such an expert at it now that he can climb in, get himself under the quilt and manage to half push one of us out of the bed before we wake up. There doesn't seem to be any underlying reason for him wanting to sleep with us, it's just that when he gets up in the night to go to the toilet, he uses the bathroom in our room and when he's done, I think ours is the closest bed! The Birds and the Bees….
I'm still a bit traumatised this morning from the question Miss Frugal asked me last night, she snuggled up on my knee on the settee, looked at me with her big blue eyes and said "Mammy, What's sexing?" I wasn't sure what to say to her, I always said I would be completely honest with her and answer any questions she has but I really wasn't expecting her to hit me with this so young. Anyone got any spare Ferrero Rocher….
Here's a random fact for you - the world record for eating the most Ferrero Rocher in one minute is 7! They muct be having a laugh, I'm sure it must be more than that - I could eat 7 of those little balls of chocolate heaven in less than 30 seconds.I would be happy to attempt to break this world record if I could persuade my husband to go to the shop for me but so far he's having none of it ;-)Just for the record, I'm also pretty sure I could polish of a 12 inch pizza in less than 1 minute 45 seconds to beat the world record for that one although I'm not sure if I can beat the … [Read more...]
Facebook….
I've just received a friend request on Facebook from my dad - how weird is that? He's 70 but since my mum died he has discovered a new lease of life, he joined the gym, bought a laptop and an Ipod and now this! I'm not sure how I feel about having him be able to see all my updates and the messages I get from my friends....As my family (other than Mr Frugal) and friends don't know about my blog yet I have two separate Facebook accounts, one personal and one blog page so it's my personal account that he has added. Confessions of a Bad Mother….
This post was inspired by BNM over at Barenaked Mummy who doesn't care that she isn't an Alpha Mummy ;-)A little while ago I shared the worst thing I have ever done as a parent.
