Saturday is Caption Day – the blurry version….
Master Frugal has discovered a love of all things scooter-y this Summer. His new favourite place in the world is the local indoor skate park where we've been going once a week for the last month or so.He loves it that much that we bought him a new scooter and helmet, because only certain ones are cool you know (really it's because we thought he needed new ones to cope with the ramps and jumps at the skate park bit he thinks it's to do with being cool).I can't believe how expensive scooters are these days, especially the so called stunt scooters that are all the rage! I love Saturday mornings as I usually get up early while the kids are still in bed and spend a lovely half an hour or so looking through photos to find a suitable one to use for Saturday is Caption Day. Saturday is Caption Day – The one where we get lost….
If you're looking for something to do with the kids that won't cost you the earth, you should see if any of your local parks or museums have an orienteering course you can do together. We found a free one in the HUGE grounds of a local museum and had a great couple of hours getting lost completing the course.
