I wrote the title of this post at the end of last week and I was going to write a bit of a philosophical type post inspired by this quote that some lovely sent me:
But then we had a lovely weekend away and I realised that there’s no point dwelling on things I can’t change, no matter how much I’d like to. So I decided not to write the post I was going to write and instead you have two lovely photos taken a year apart at Knowlsley Safari Park (more on that later in the week).
They might not look any different to you but to me they’ve changed massively in the last twelve months – they’re so much more grown up and they’re a pleasure to spend time with. They have their moments, as we all do, but I’m so proud of them and the people that they’re turning into as they grow.

What a great post! I totally agree there is no point in dwelling when you have so many other things to be happy about in life! I think im going to steal your idea and take a photo of my little boy this summer in a place we went last year and just look at how much he has changed!

What true words. That rings very true in a number of areas in my life right now. Love the idea of taking a picture in the same place, position as 12 months ago. Great way to compare how your kids have changed over that period.

How brilliant to have the photographs at the same place – lovely to look back on and remember everything that happened over the year.
