You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online and this is my monthly post to share some of my bargains with you!
I know I say this pretty much every month but I genuinely love buying second hand (here are 8 reasons why I think buying second-hand clothes is the future) but this month, I thought I’d share some of my Vinted buys as I’ve mentioned a few times that I’ve been using Vinted to sell some stuff but not shared many of the bargains that I’ve bought on there.
I can’t remember if I already told you about this little Lulu Guinness make-up pouch that I bought for £1.99 and sold it on Vinted for £15.00 which was a great profit considering how easy it to sell on Vinted. The buyer pays the postage and the selling fee so I made £13 profit for very little effort although I am a bit sad that I sold it!
I bought it because I love Lulu Guinness and this is such a pretty little make-up bag but I do already have a YSL one that I love which is slightly bigger than this one so when I got it home, I realised I probably wouldn’t use it so I took a couple of pics and listed it for sale.
I also sold a couple of the pairs of shoes that I’ve bought recently as it became apparent that I’d developed a bit of a shoe obsession when I was looking for a new shoe rack to add to my existing one but luckily I was able to easily sell them for at least what I’d paid for them with a couple of them going for more. As well as that, I sold a couple of posh dresses that I’ve bought over the years for various awards ceremonies that are a bit big for me now.
Instead of withdrawing the earnings to my bank account, I decided to give my wardrobe a bit of a revamp seeing as it feels like life is getting back to normal and I actually have real plans over the next couple of months to do things other than pop to Tesco or walk on the beach. 😂
So, instead of charity shop pre-loved bargains, this month I thought you’d like to see my Vinted pre-loved bargains:
Brand new with tags floral wrap skirt from in the Style – selling for £6 but offer accepted at £4.50
This is a gorgeous skirt that’s just a bit too small for me at the moment but I did buy it in the size down knowing that I was losing weight and that it would fit soon hopefully. I just loved it when I saw it so I thought it was a worthwhile buy. 😂 It fits to be fair but the split is a bit too revealing so I need there to be less me around my middle so I can wrap it more!
Brand new with tags Junarose dress – selling for £5 but offer accepted at £3.50
The photo of this just doesn’t do it justice at all! It’s a super soft jersey fabric with a lovely flattering fit that just makes me feel really nice wearing it. The sleeves are a perfect length and there’s a frill around the bottom that just adds a bit to what is otherwise a really simple but lovely dress. My favourite thing that I’ve bought so far and for £3.50 I couldn’t be happier.
Brand new with tags River Island maxi skirt – selling for £4 but offer accepted at £3.50
I’m enjoying wearing longer skirts at the moment and this one is just lovely! Usually, a Maxi skirt is a bit long for my short legs but this is just right and I love wearing it!
Excellent condition Cath Kidston dress – selling for £15 but offer accepted at £13
This is the loveliest dress that is going to be perfect for cooler days to wear with my tights and boots! It genuinely looks brand new which makes it a huge bargain considering similar patterns are selling on the Cath Kidston site for £50+.
Excellent condition Lindy Bop dress – selling for £15 but offer accepted at £12
I don’t think Lindy Bop is still trading but I love their vintage dresses and even second hand, they usually cost a lot more than this. The colours of this dress are amazing and I absolutely love the wrap style at the moment.
I’ve also bought a couple of pairs of gym leggings, some Fat Face dresses, and a few basic tops without spending anything other than the money I earned selling my things so this month’s pre-loved bargains are even more bargainous than usual.
Hopefully, I’ll be back next month with more pre-loved bargains.
And don’t forget, if you can’t get out to wander around your local charity shops then have a look at my favourite online charity shops!
