You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online and this is the return of my monthly post to share some of my bargains with you!
First of all, something that made me smile this month on my charity shop travels.
Miss Frugal asked me if we could go charity shop shopping a couple of Sundays ago as she wanted some new (to her) clothes but didn’t want to spend too much as she’s saving for a holiday this year. She asked if we could go to a small town near us which is know for being a bit posh as she thought she’d get better quality bargains.
Look at what bag we were given in one of the shops – poshest bag for life ever.
It’s battered but still a Fortnum and Mason bag!
We did manage to get some great bargains but the kids both went home with their new clothes and I have no doubt that I will never see the photos of everything that they promised to send me so I think this is where the story of this particular shopping trip ends.
I bought a couple of slightly more expensive things this month because I am really conscious that I want to buy quality items that will last longer. This cardigan is made by Roman and you can feel the quality of the fabric so even though it cost £9, I’m super happy with it.
I also bought my partner a nice top which was £8.95. I don’t often find clothes in a charity shop for my partner as he’s 6ft 4 which means most clothes would never fit him. He hates buying himself treats and would always rather that me and the kids got treats so when I do find something I think he’ll like, I buy it.
I also bought myself a top which is in the wash right now as I had it on yesterday but I did take a photo while I had it on that I can share so you can see what I’m talking about. It wasn’t meant to be a picture of the top though so you have to use your imagination for it.
I love the colours and think they suit me so it makes me feel really confident when I’m wearing it so it was absolutely worth the £3 I paid for it.
And my last bargain for March is a dress from M&S which I bought for £4.95. I love it but I’ll be the first to day that the photo doesn’t do it justice in any way.
I promise it looks loved in real life!
I’ve been having a little look on Vinted for some holiday clothes so watch this space for my next post as I’m hoping to have a holiday edition soon!
If you want to find out more about how to find bargains on Vinted yourself then this how to buy on Vinted post is perfect for you – it’s the perfect place to start if you want to start finding some pre-loved bargains of your own.
Also, I know that money is tight for many of us right now so I did just want to say that usually when I buy anything pre-loved, I try and only use money that I’ve made from things that I’ve sold on Vinted so I rarely pay actual money for anything you see that I’ve bought from there. Here’s a post about how much I made in a weekend selling on Vinted a little while ago to give you an idea!
So that’s what I’ve bought pre-loved this month. I’d love to see your bargains so feel free to tag me in any Instagram posts and I’ll pop over and see what you’ve been buying!
