You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online and this is my monthly post to share some of my bargains with you!
You’ll probably know this by now but I’m a huge Vinted fan and there’s not a monthly pre-loved post goes by without me sharing at least one Vinted bargain. If you want to find out more about how to find bargains on there yourself then this how to buy on Vinted post is perfect for you!
Also, I know I say this each month but when I buy things anything pre-loved, I try and only use money that I’ve made from things that I’ve sold on Vinted so I rarely pay actual money for anything you see that I’ve bought from there. Here’s a post about how much I made in a weekend selling on Vinted a little while ago to give you an idea!
I’m trying to get into the photos myself a little bit more as it’s much better to see clothes on someone rather than on a coathanger on the back of a door but my full-length mirror is in the spare room which is currently occupied by a hamster called Carl, a mountain of clean washing and lots of Master Frugal.s weights so the background often looks a bit chaotic. 😂
First up, I have a pair of boots that are perfect all-rounders bought from Vinted for the grand total of £7 which is tremendous considering how much I’ve already worn them. They go over jeans like I’m wearing them in the picture below but also with a dress and they’re so comfortable that I can wear them all day at work so I’m absolutely over the moon with them.
I also treated myself to a nice pair of trainers which are something I’ve been after for a little while. I had some from Tesco which were about £15 and they’ve been amazing but I wore them on a dog walk last month when we detoured into the woods near where I live and they’re never going to be the same again after I stepped in a muddy puddle so deep they got wet inside as well as out. 😂
I’m not one for paying a fortune just for the brand of a shoe but the kids picked out these pink Adidas trainers for me on Vinted which I love – mainly because they’re pink and not because they’re Adidas but don’t tell them that! They were listed on Vinted as brand new for £20 so I put in an offer of £15 which was accepted so I got them for £15 which was a bargain if you ask me. They are super comfortable and for the price I paid, I’m really pleased.
I will say though, that I don’t find them any more comfortable or supportive than my Tesco trainers that I paid around that price for so I have to be honest and tell you that I liked the Tesco ones that were just plain black a little bit better.
Next up is a dress that I bought for a day of cocktails with the girls but never ended up wearing as it felt a bit too dressy when I tried it on. I do love it though and it looks nice on so for the £5 I paid for it I think it was a good buy. I can’t decide what occasion I’d actually wear it for now though but I’m pretty sure I’ll get back my £5 if I decide to relist it on Vinted.
Also for the same afternoon out, I bought a black handbag to wear with the dress as I realised I didn’t have a single black bag so I bought this black Mango bag from a local charity shop for £3. I love it and think I’ll get a lot of wear out of this as it goes with pretty much everything. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s not a cross body bag so if I come across a cross body then I’ll pop this on Vinted and I’m sure I’ll get back more than I paid for it.
And last up is this brunch club oversized Old Navy yellow sweater which I love as it’s so comfortable but actually looks nice on with a pair of leggings. I wanted some oversized jumpers so I searched on Vinted for sweatshirts and used the price filter to search for things under £2 and this came up. It was £1.50 and was listed as having a bit of fabric bobbling but I never worry too much about that as long as it doesn’t look too bad as I have a secret weapon to deal with this (actually, it’s not so secret really).
I sorted the bobbles within a few minutes of it arriving and it’s been my favourite jumper ever since – especially when I wear it with my sandals that match it perfectly!
So that’s what I’ve bought pre-loved this month. I’d love to see your bargains so feel free to tag me in any Instagram posts and I’ll pop over and see what you’ve been buying!
