You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online and this is my monthly post to share some of my bargains with you!
This is my favourite post to write every single month. 😇
It’s because I genuinely love a good bargain and when I find one, I just want to share it with the world. I’m genuinely that person who you’ll compliment on my outfit and I’ll reply with either ‘OMG I know, it has pockets too’ or ‘Thanks, it only cost me £2 from the charity shop in town’.
They’re pretty much my two only responses when people say they like what I’m wearing – I really should learn to just say thank you and move on, shouldn’t I? 😂
If you’ve been here a while then the chances are that you’ll already know I’m a huge Vinted fan and that there’s not a monthly pre-loved post that goes by without me sharing at least one Vinted bargain. If you want to find out more about how to find bargains on there yourself then this how to buy on Vinted post is perfect for you – it’s the perfect place to start if you want to start finding some pre-loved bargains of your own.
Also, I know that money is tight for many of us right now so I did just want to say that usually when I buy anything pre-loved, I try and only use money that I’ve made from things that I’ve sold on Vinted so I rarely pay actual money for anything you see that I’ve bought from there. Here’s a post about how much I made in a weekend selling on Vinted a little while ago to give you an idea!
So my first bargain of the month is a new laptop bag! I wanted a rucksack style laptop bag as I do sometimes have to travel a little bit and I have so much stuff in my bag on those days that it can be a bit heavy so I figured a rucksack style would be easier to carry.
I spent ages looking for the right one and when this one popped up on Vinted, I knew I needed it.
It’s perfect for what I need it for with lovely comfy padded straps, a section in there for my laptop and plenty of space for my usual travel extras. It was up for sale on Vinted for £25 which was a bargain as it was for a Ted Baker bag in such good condition but I offered £22 and had a £10 voucher to use so all in, I think it was around £16 which definitely puts it up there with my best bargain buys ever.
It is quite big and I am quite short so I feel a bit like Dora the Explorer with it on my back but it’s so much more comfortable and easier to carry than my old laptop bag so I’m over the moon with this bargain!
This next bargain was something I loved as soon as I saw it on Vinted – so much so that I didn’t even try and negotiate a better price, I just bought it at £6 which is still a good deal but I’d usually try and shave a little of the price with a cheeky offer.
It had a lot of little fabric bobbles on when it arrived which, although not an issue as I can remove them with my bobble remover, it was a bit annoying as it wasn’t ‘excellent condition’ as described. I do love it though and for what I paid for it, it’s a bargain that I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of this Summer and beyond.
This button-through shirt dress is my current favourite dress (especially paired with my favourite Vinted Boots) and I can wear it for work or for a night out which makes it super versatile.
It cost £3.50 from my local charity shop and I’ve already worn it a couple of times so I know it’s going to be a good buy.
I bought this shirt from the same shop on the same day and funnily enough paid the same price for it. I think it’s more of a long length shirt but because I have short legs, I did consider wearing it as a dress.
I think it might be just a little bit too short so it’s probably going to be more of a shirt to go with jeans or leggings but I’m not completely ruling it out as a dress yet.
Back to Vinted for my next bargain. I’ve been after a pair of all-white Converse for a while now but the ones I want are quite expensive as I want the ones without the red line around the base.
I’ve been waiting for a pair at a reasonable price in great condition to come up but I never managed to find any so I decided to change my search and look for a pair of plain white vans instead. They’re clearly not as popular as the Converse as I got a pair very quickly for the bargain price of £9.99.
They’re brand new and never worn and the only thing wrong with them was a bit of dust on the top which just needed a brush-off. They do feel very slightly on the small side though so I can’t decide whether to wear them and see if they stretch or to sell them on and go half a size up on my search.
My last bargain of the month this month is this super pretty skirt which the picture doesn’t do justice to at all. It’s covered in spots all in different pastel colours and has a lovely pink ribbon belt sewn onto it at the top.
It cost me £3 from the charity shop near me and I do love it but I just don’t feel like it’s very flattering on so I’m not 100% if I’m going to keep it or not. I think I suit a slightly shorter length usually and I’m not sure if this just isn’t made for shorties like me which means it’s too long and doesn’t sit that well on me. I’ll have a good think, but if I do sell it using Vinted then I’m sure I’ll get my money’s worth.
So that’s what I’ve bought pre-loved this month. I’d love to see your bargains so feel free to tag me in any Instagram posts and I’ll pop over and see what you’ve been buying!
