I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online so I thought I’d start a bit of a monthly round-up of some of the pre-loved bargains that I buy each month. Here’s this month’s little round-up.
(Also, I should say that I bought this little lot just before lockdown kicked in)
What could be more perfect for this time of year than this super fluffy, super warm hooded jacket? It was £7.99 which I’m really pleased with considering the quality of it – honestly, it’s super soft and so comfortable and the picture doesn’t do it justice at all!
(I think I say that at least once every time I do one of these posts 😂 )
I absolutely love this colourful M&S top which I paid £2.49 for – an absolute bargain considering it’s still got the tags attached! It looks like it was originally £12.50 and then bought for £8.50 in an M&S outlet somewhere.
And then there’s this beautiful Per Una knitted top which I absolutely loved as soon as I saw it so snapped it up for what I thought was a bargain price of £3.49. I don’t think you can really tell from the photo but the sleeves are almost like bell sleeves at the bottom which is definitely very me!
But then, I got it home and found a stain on the sleeve – not a huge stain and you’d probably never even notice it but once I knew it was there, I couldn’t not see it.
So… I’ve got a plan to dye it a lovely vibrant colour to cover up the stain and brighten up my wardrobe! Wish me luck. 🤞
And lastly, I’ve got an eBay bargain to show you! This dress is made by Fat Face which is a brand that I really like for their style but absolutely not for their prices because I’m absolutely not all about paying almost £50 for a dress – no matter how much I like said dress.
I have a few ways to get the dresses I like for a much better price though. 😂
The first is to try and visit their outlet shop as regularly as I can which isn’t too bad (when life is more normal than it is at the moment) as I drive past it every day on my way to work. The dresses in there tend to be half price and then some but they don’t always have the dresses in that I like so although I do get a good bargain every now and again, it’s not as often as I’d like.
So, plan B is eBay! I like to have a quick search on eBay every now and again to see if there are any Fat Face dresses selling. I don’t like to pay too much for them though so I tend to pop a bid on one I like for a maximum of around £10 knowing that if I won, I’ve got a bargain and if I don’t I’ll just try again next time.
This one I managed to get for £7.72 which I’m really pleased with as it looks great with some thick black tights and boots.
Hopefully, I’ll be back next month with more pre-loved bargains.
