You all know that I love a good pre-loved bargain, whether it’s from a charity shop, the car boot sale or even from somewhere online and this is my monthly post to share some of my bargains with you!
I know I say this pretty much every month but I genuinely love buying second-hand (here are 8 reasons why I think buying second-hand clothes is the future) and this month’s little haul has made me super happy as I got lots of great bargains!
Right, first up I did take back the two dresses that I was unsure about from last month’s post – I didn’t ask for a refund obviously but just swapped them for something else that caught my eye when I was next in the shop.
I’m starting this post with a new handbag that I bought for £3.95. I’m usually a fan of smaller cross body style bags that usually have a bit of colour on them so this really isn’t my usual style at all but I’ve been looking for a larger bag for a while now and haven’t been able to find what that I liked and that didn’t cost a fortune.
I can’t say I love it, but I don’t dislike it and I can’t complain as it’s doing what it needs to do for a bargain price. 😂
The next thing I have to show you is a dress that I bought with no intention of keeping! I bought this amazing Jacques Vert dress for £3.95 because I knew I could sell it on for a cheeky profit – especially as it still had the tags on showing an RRP of £159!
I’m not going to lie, I looked at it on the hanger and thought it was nice but not £159 nice, and then I got it home and thought I’d try it on and it is absolutely beautiful. You can genuinely see the quality of it in the fabric, the fit, and everything about it and I was super tempted to keep it.
I’ve listed it on Vinted for £30 and I’ve had a few lower offers so far but I’m in no rush and know that at some point, I’ll get the full price so I’m just going to hang on for now and in the meantime if I get a chance to wear it myself then I’ll just keep it.
Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? And a dress with pockets covered in super cute little red and white hearts for £2.99 is just the dream. This is a brand new dress that cost me just £2.99 and it looks perfect with a pair of tights and boots for Winter as the fabric is actually quite thick.
This next top is a chiffon pink floaty fabric over a pink vest top and it just looks amazing! It was a total bargain at £3 and fits really well so I’m over the moon with it!
This is my mid-life crisis outfit and I actually have no idea why I bought it other than it made me smile and it was only 99p. It’s a stretchy playsuit which in my defense I did think was a dress right up until I got it home. It does look lovely on but it’s not something I’m comfortable wearing so I listed it on Vinted for £4.00 which is still an absolute bargain for anyone who buys it.
And the last thing I have to share for this month is this pair of shoes that I bought from Vinted for £4.00 using the money I made from something I sold last week. They’re so unusual and super impractical as I rarely wear heels but I just loved them and they do fit really nicely! The photo doesn’t do them justice at all and for all that they’re high, they’re actually super comfortable!
Hopefully, I’ll be back next month with more pre-loved bargains.
And don’t forget, if you can’t get out to wander around your local charity shops then have a look at my favourite online charity shops! And if you want to learn how to sell on Vinted then I have just the post for you!
