OK, I know that’s not the most inspiring title for a blog post but bear with me….
I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Aldi.
I love their prices but I hate the fact that I can’t get everything I need from there which usually means that I end up having to pop to another shop on the way home.
Rather than doing a full sop in my local Aldi, I’ve started to pop in on a Saturday morning after I drop Master Frugal off at his Primary University class to get a few bits. I don’t generally have my meal plan written up by this point but I do like to stock up on their ‘Super Six’ which is a selection of fruit and veg that they sell for 39p each.
The fruit and veg included in the offer changes every week so I like to pop in and stock up before I plan the next week’s meals because the more I can include, the cheaper my shopping will be. 😉
This week I’ve bought baby potatoes, carrots, broccoli, a savoy cabbage, a swede and a bag of onions and if you pop back on Monday then you’ll see what I have planned for it all!
