Two week’s running that I’ve posted an actual meal plan that looks all pretty and isn’t scrawled on the back of an envelope or a (usually important not to be scribbled on) letter from school!
As always, I’m not going to go through our meals day by day but I will tell you why we’ll we be eating a few of the things that we’ll be eating:
- The chilli has been in the freezer for a while now as I made double last time we ate it! I’ll get it out on Sunday night and either serve it with rice or wraps (yummy but messy).
- Fish pie is something that I used to cook quite often until one day Mr Frugal said he didn’t really like it and was only eating it because he didn’t want to hurt my feelings! I have some white fish in the freezer so I’m planning to make it on Tuesday when he’s working late!
- The vegetable risotto is made using frozen mixed veg which you can get really cheaply.
