There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day at the minute.
I have so much to do but all I actually want to do is snuggle up on the settee and do nothing, especially since I bought myself a lovely new throw for the settee last night. How pretty is this?
I have jobs to do round the house, blog posts to write, emails to reply to, work to go to, school meetings to attend and I’m not sure if it’s the change in weather but I have a sudden urge to decorate!
On the plus side, I made the decision about what school to put as our first choice for Miss Frugal’s secondary school – it’s the one that her friends aren’t going to so she’ll be on her own if she gets in but I definitely think it’s the right thing to do. We’re going tomorrow night actually for a look around but we’ll also be going to the other school this week for their night in case she ends up going there.
So, that’s my week in a nutshell (apart from the sleepover on Friday and the shopping on Saturday so Miss Frugal can spend the rest of her birthday money) . I’m not sure I’m going to have much time to eat, let along cook so it’s a bit of a lazy one from me this week. The slow cooker’s going to be working overtime I think 😉
