This week I’m joining in with Marianne and her fantastic Time Traveller linky and I’m going to share one of our pre-blog holidays with you. We used to travel quite a lot when the kids were younger and even more so before we had them as I was a travel agent when I was younger and we took full advantage of the holiday freebies I was offered.
I’ve got boxes of holiday photos in the garage and Miss Frugal and I often like to sit and look through them and there’s so many that I could have chosen to share today but I chose this one because it’s my happiest holiday memory.
Disneyland Paris 2009
When we visited Disneyland in April 2009 Master Frugal was just four years old and had a huge love for everything Disney Cars related. His big sister, Miss Frugal, was almost seven and being a typical girly girl, she was crazy about all things Disney Princess.
They were fascinated by absolutely everything and didn’t know where to look half the time and it was an absolute pleasure to watch them enjoying themselves so much….
Our trip to Disneyland Paris was magical and I look back at it with such happy memories. We haven’t had a trip since (or before) which has gone so perfectly and I’m genuinely not exaggerating when I say that I can’t remember a single tear, cross word or other drama throughout the whole four night trip! Although to be fair when we weren’t at the park or eating tea, they kids were so tired that they just wanted to go to sleep.
Mr Frugal thinks I’m strange because I don’t want to go back again because it was so good the first time around. Does that make sense to anyone but me?

Disneyland Paris, a truly amazing experience. The rides are fun. Ranging from really fast to slow and relaxing. Food wasn't the best I've eaten but it was good enough, though the prices are pretty high. If you’re an adult you might not find it as enjoyable but you should have fun nonetheless.
I really love stepping back in time, it's amazing to see how much the kids have grown.
Lucky you being able to get all the perks that come with being a travel agent! I think I would have gone back.
We went last summer for the first time but only for one day and the twins were 7, I know they'd love to go back sometime as we barely scratched the surface of everything there is to do there.
Thank you for linking up to Time Traveller.
Disney is great isn't it? – for little kids and big kids alike

Sounds like a perfect trip trip to me! I'd feel the same – it'll never be as good the 2nd time!
