Welcome to Wednesday’s Wardrobe!
In case you don’t know, Wednesday’s Wardrobe is a weekly linky that I’ll be co-hosting along with two fantastic bloggers, Emma and Sarah.
We’ve had a quiet week this week after our traumas of last week with the washing machine dying on us. It turned out that it couldn’t be fixed so we had to go and buy a new one – from Currys of all places. I was convinced they would be more expensive than anywhere else but they have some great deals on at the moment so they were the best value for money. The service was excellent too – chose it on Saturday evening just before closing and they had it delivered and plumbed in by Monday lunchtime.
We had a bit of a shopping trip last Thursday when we went to the MetroCentre but I’ll save that for next week because I want to tell you about my new shoes that the lovely people at Hotter sent me to try.
I generally wear flat shoes because (a) I find them much more comfortable and (b) me and heels are not a good mix and I usually trip at least once when I’m in heels. 😉
But I often find that flat shoes are boring and very plain and recently, I’m a little embarrassed to say but plain black shoes with a black bow on the front is about as adventurous as my shoes have been.
So when Hotter shoes asked us if we wanted to each review a pair of shoes for Wenesday’s Wardrobe, I jumped at the chance and decided to go for a splash of colour ready for the sunshine and look at what I got….
They’re not only gorgeous to look at but they are amazingly comfortable – Miss Frugal, depsite being 2 sizes too small for them put them on and declared that they were likea mini memory foam mattresses for feet and she’s got a point. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pair of shoes as comfortable as this and they’re so pretty as well.
I’ve never seen Hotter shoes before but I’ll definitely be buying more shoes from them in future.
We’d love to see what you and your children have been wearing this week? Why don’t you link up with us by adding your link below….
