Welcome to this week’s Wednesday’s Wardrobe!
In case you don’t know, Wednesday’s Wardrobe is a weekly linky that I’ll be co-hosting along with two fantastic bloggers, Emma and Sarah.
Both kids came down with a bug last week which floored them from Thursday night through to Sunday so this week’s Wednesday’s Wardrobe should really be pyjama related. 😉
Instead, I’ll tell you about a few of the other outfits from this week….
The New Top
I love Miss Frugal’s new top which we bought for just £5.99 in New Look – it’s a stretchy knit and looks really good on (although I may be biased). Lots of girls her age are wearing quite short belly tops but she’s not comfortable wearing tops like that and is forever pulling it down to cover her tummy when she has one on so this is a great compromise. It’s short but not too short and a complete bargain I think.
The Old Favourite
We bought this top last year from Primark for about £4 and I love it almost as much as she does. It’s made of a really light cotton fabric and it’s got the little collar detail that she loves so much.
The Comfy T-shirt
We were asked if we wanted to review a kids T-Shirt by Plain Lazy and at first I was going to politely decline because Master Frugal is a funny one when it comes to T-Shirts. But when I showed him the range available for his age he decided that he loved this one. I ordered it knowing it was likely that he wouldn’t like it when it came but he loved it and thinks the slogan is hilarious – he keeps explaining it to people!
The T-Shirt is a great fit and is really good quality – it doesn’t feel like a flimsy T-Shirt that’s not going to last long if you know what I mean. It washes really well and as soon as it was dry he wanted it on again which is the sign of a great T-Shirt in my eyes. In fact, he’s asked for two of the other shirts as well so I’m going to get him them to add to his Summer Wardrobe as they’re great value for £13 if you ask me.
