Welcome to this week’s Wednesday’s Wardrobe!
In case you don’t know, Wednesday’s Wardrobe is a weekly linky that I’ll be co-hosting along with two fantastic bloggers, Emma and Sarah.
I broke one of my own rules this weekend – I bought some clothes for Miss Frugal without consulting her first. 😉
In my defence, we were at the car boot sale and the lady on the stall we were looking at decided that she was going to reduce everything to 20p. When she started shouting that everything was reduced to 20p I looked at the rail of clothes I was sorting through filled with clothes from shops like Top Shop and River Island and I looked at the surge of people who were pushing their way over to find out what they could get for 20p and then I did what any self respecting bargain hunter would do.
I scooped up everything on the rail and told her I would take it all.
£3 later and I had a bag of clothes for Miss Frugal and a smug smile on my face for winning at the car boot sale game.
Moving on to another stall in the next row, I came across a Warehouse dress that looked very expensive but the man was selling it for 5op so I had that as well.
I couldn’t wait for Miss Frugal to get home later that day because I was pretty sure that she would love the Warehouse dress and I was quietly confident that she would like some if not all of the 20p bargains.
I’ll be honest though, it didn’t go as well as I thought.
The Warehouse dress, although not low cut in any way, hangs off her on the shoulders and I think you can tell how much she loved this one:
On the plus side, we did get three vest tops, two pairs of shorts and a couple of other T-shirts along with this, which we both love:
What about you, have you had found any clothes bargains this week?
