In the two week’s school holiday last month we went to Wales. We’ve never been to Wales before so we were very excited.
After that, we stayed in a castle (Ruthin Castle.) At the castle,we saw some peacocks 3 males and 5 female. The males were trying to impress the women by showing their feathers and shaking them. We helped a member of staff feed them bread and they ate out of our hands. We liked that bit.
The room was amazing, however, did you know we had our own room. It was right next door to Mam and Dad’s room and we watched a cop show on the TV but then Mam made us turn it off. On the night we played chess in the lobby and went for a walk in the gardens.
We went cycling at Llyn Brenig and we loved the nature walk which we loved because there was puddles but also because I love history and science (Mast F added that not me).
We played in the amusements at the beach at Rhyll but we didn’t win a prize.
Wales is awesome but the street signs are in a different language.
There were lots of sheep and more green than there is where we live. We’re not sure if the sheep at the top of the hill were mountain goats.
Our Mam says that Visit Wales invited us on our holiday so we wanted to say thank you to them as it was awesome.
