What did you do last night….

Mr Frugal and I have been married for ten years this week and to celebrate we went to see Peter Kay last night at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena and it was fantastic – a perfect way to celebrate.

I know this picture doesn’t show it but we actually had really good seats (apart from the fact that everyone was squashed in like sardines) and my chest actually hurt from laughing solidly for two hours. His new material is fantastic and I can’t wait to buy the DVD!

Courtesy of last night, the kids new favourite new joke is:

My mates just been sacked from his job on the dodgems, it’s OK though – he’s suing them for funfair dismissal!

A night like that should be compulsory to firewall us against the doom and gloom. We never miss Eddie Izzard when he comes to Dublin, and having a laugh like that is worth a ton of Prozac xxx

I'd never been to see a 'big' comedian until a couple of weeks ago when we went to see Ross Noble. I wasn't sure that I'd like it but I cried from laughing all night and my cheeks hurt for a couple of days!!! We're going to see Frankie Boyle soon but I made sure to buy seats as far away from the stage as possible!!! Lol!!! Happy Anniversary to you and Mr Frugal xx

I saw Peter Kay on the last tour he did and I must say my face ached from laughing so hard. Me and hubby love going to see comedians live it's just a shame we've not been since little one arrived.

I haven't been to the theatre for ages, but I've seen Ben Elton, Jasper Carrot, Dave Allen & Smith & Jones (Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones) previously. I know what you mean about the chest hurting from laughing - I needed dry knickers after Ben Elton!!!!
