One of my favourite bloggers, Becky, has tagged me to share with you all what I’m doing now. I considered making myself sound very exotic and mature but actually, I really am sat here tonight eating a takeaway in my pyjamas reading a trashy book.
Reading: OK, I could lie here and tell you I’m reading some sort of grown up book with deeper meanings but I’m not. I’m actually reading a trashy romance book on my Kindle. They’re my guilty secret and l love escaping into a good romance.
Listening to: Actually right now I’m listening to that bloody Minecraft tune! Even when it’s not on I still hear it in my head and it’s so annoying and repetitive!
Laughing at: I’m still chuckling to myself about the fact that I loaded up the Nerf gun, shouted the kids into the kitchen and Nerf’d them until I ran out of bullets. I’m not laughing so much at the fact they got revenge on me within five minutes but at least I had my moment of glory.
Swooning over: I’m undecided as to whether I’m swooning over the cast of 90210 which Miss Frugal is starting to get into or the cast of the Beverly Hills 90210 from my own youth. You decide….
Planning: I’m planning lots at the minute with my new little notebooks. I’m planning some weekends away, some adventures for the Summer Holidays and lots of blog related things. Exciting times!
Eating: We’ve had a cheeky takeaway tonight as the kids are having a sleepover. Ssssshhhhh!
Feeling: Motivated and ready for action. I just need some time now to actually put some plans in place which is going to be difficult as I always seem to have something on lately.
Discovering: That life is much easier when I let things go that I can’t control.
Looking at: Photos because I’m wanting a new canvas for the wall in my hall but I can’t decide which photo will look good as a big canvas!
Wearing: Comfy old fleece pyjamas.
Cooking: Tomorrow I’m planning mince and onion with dumplings or Yorkshire puds and some sort of sponge pudding for desert. But if we’re talking about cooking then this seems like a great opportunity for a gratuitous cake shot then this could be it. Here’s the cakes I made earlier in the week in case you missed them on Instagram.
Trying out: Making loom bands with the kids! It’s much more fun than I thought and actually, you need to be really skilled for some of the ones that Miss Frugal is making.
I’m tagging the lovely Jen from The MadHouse, the gorgeous MumReinvented, the inspirational Joy from Pink Oddy and the very clever Michelle from The Purple Pumpkin blog whose Britmums write ups have been fab this week for me as someone who never made it there.
